Haiti’s greatest resource is her people. As the first free black republic in the world, Haitian people have stayed the course through political oppression and upheaval, an unstable infrastructure, foreign occupation, hurricanes, earthquakes and conditions imaginable and unimaginable to many, including lack of food, water, shelter and basic medical care. Through all of this and more, the people of Haiti continue to seek ways to improve their lives and the lives of their children. Their faith and love is never-ending.

While ongoing efforts of the Haitian government continue to seek answers, the last areas to feel the effects of any positive changes are in the rural and outlying areas. Our mission is to aid in bringing positive change directly to the outlying areas. Here you will see the bright smiles of children, and the parents who strive to find ways to reach the goals and dreams they have for their children, needs as basic as food on the table, a good education, and hope for the future. Unrelenting in strength, belief, faith, determination and love, Haiti truly inspires.

Haiti Inspires Inc. supports basic needs, food, water, shelter, and intends to help families access necessary medical care through financial support. Our efforts are concentrated in the rural areas, initially located in the village of Bosye, near the town of Leogane. One school in the village of Bosye addresses the initial education levels, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. Established by Soleil Foundation, additional sponsorship of children will enable these efforts to expand. Upon completion of the initial levels, funding is then available for the continuing education of the children in this village.

Also available are continuing education programs for adults, with technical and employment opportunity focuses. Supporting these efforts will strengthen the community with the ultimate goal of additional independence and self-sustaining goals. As one village grows, that village can assist another village to strengthen and grow. Further opportunities to provide for sustainable services in this village will be continually researched in attempt to locate additional resources available for these families, enabling them to improve their quality of life, and inspire a vision of greater hope for their children.
